Richard Conroy, CLP, Director and Principal

As a Director and Principal, Richard Conroy's professional experience has primarily been in asset valuation, transaction support, litigation support and strategic due diligence, with a concentration in intellectual property ("IP"). Mr. Conroy has held senior positions in leading IP consulting and restructuring companies, and provided engagement leadership and turn-key services assisting clients in valuing and monetizing their IP, as well as in assessing damages in IP litigations. He has also provided corporate finance and analytical support, solvency opinions, and business and private equity valuations.

He has consulted on hundreds of engagements involving asset valuation in the context of transactions, collateralizations, joint ventures, licensing, capital raises, spin-offs, bankruptcies, tax strategies, auctions, and tax disputes, as well as in determining economic damages in commercial litigations and mediations. Mr. Conroy has worked with a variety of clients, including Fortune 50 companies, individual inventors, investment banks, private equity funds, limited partners, accounting firms, start-up companies, lenders, the Internal Revenue Service, and law firms; and has worked for both plaintiffs and defendants.

Mr. Conroy earned a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
