Michael L. Hartzmark, Director and Principal
Michael L. Hartzmark, is a Director and Principal at Navigant Economics, and a former professor at the University of Michigan in both the Ross School of Business and the Department of Economics. He consults and serves as a testifying expert on a wide range of matters related to economics, finance and business operations and strategy. Michael ran a publicly-traded automotive company for eleven years, has been the CFO of another publicly-traded company, and worked for the US government at the Treasury Department and the Commodity Future Trading Commission. His academic research examined market power, manipulation and returns to large traders in futures markets. Michael earned his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Chicago.
