Howard Schneider, Managing Director

Howard Schneider, Managing Director, possesses extensive experience in the futures and derivatives industry, which he acquired through years of public service, law firm practice and hands-on involvement in the financial services industry. Most recently, Mr. Schneider served as General Counsel of MF Global, Ltd., a leading broker in the financial services market segment. Prior to that, he was a Partner in the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman and its predecessor firms, where he specialized in futures and derivatives legal matters, broker/dealer securities issues, hedge fund practices, regulatory and compliance work in the financial services industry, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and legal ethics. Mr. Schneider's regulatory experience includes his tenure as the first General Counsel of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Mr. Schneider holds a BA from Cornell University and a JD from the Cornell University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia.
