Jonathan Tomlin, Principal

Jonathan Tomlin, Principal, has over fifteen years of experience in performing economic and statistical analysis involving questions in the areas of antitrust, complex damages, corporate finance, and intellectual property. He has evaluated economic damages in a wide range of matters including antitrust, breach of contract, fraud, false advertising, and intellectual property. In the antitrust arena, some of the areas in which Dr. Tomlin has conducted substantial analysis include price-fixing claims, predatory pricing claims, mergers, Walker Process/Handgards claims, exclusionary conduct, price discrimination, and alleged monopolization and attempted monopolization.

Dr. Tomlin has published numerous articles on the application of economic principles to legal issues. His articles have appeared both in peer reviewed journals such as the Review of Law & Economics and the B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy and in law reviews such as the George Mason Law Review. He has served as an economic commentator for both the on-line edition of Forbes and for theStreet.com. Dr. Tomlin has testified as an expert witness for cases in both state and federal court and has presented damages analysis in mediation.

Jonathan Tomlin holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in economics from UCLA.
